কত দূর যাবে তরী?
কতটুকুই আর পাব লগ্ন
সময়ের নায়ে চড়ি!
কখন যেন আসে গোধূলীর ডাক-
মনের কোণে জাগে শুধু প্রশ্ন ।।
জীবনের ঘানি টেনে টেনে
প্রভাত শেষে যায় দুপুর।
রাত্রির আগমন নিশ্চিত জেনে
মোহের পায়ে দেই নুপুর।
বিকেলের হাতছানি যাক এসে যাক-
নিজেকে নিয়েই যে থাকি মগ্ন।।
স্বপ্নের ঘোরে কেটে যায় বেলা
কাজের কাজ হয়না কিছু!
নিজের অজান্তেই শেষ হয় খেলা
নিরাশা ছুটে পিছু।
হিসেবের হালখাতা থাক পড়ে থাক-
স্বপ্নের ঘোর নিকষ রাত হোক ভগ্ন।।
